What is Hypnosis?

Hypnosis is experienced as a trance like state in which a person is more susceptible to ideas and suggestions. When being hypnotized a person can become more imaginative and better at problem solving; they're in prime position to accept a new strategy and conquer their old unwanted behaviors.

However, the only way that hypnosis can be effective as a treatment for any issue is if the person being hypnotized really wants to give up their habits. This modality does not change minds or induce new outlooks, but it can assist the automated mindset.
